The Primavera Foundation
The Primavera Foundation started as a humble soup kitchen to help the many homeless individuals living in Tucson. Unfortunately, the neighborhood sued for the closure of the soup kitchen, but that didn’t stop founders Gordon Packard and Nancy Bissell. They and many other dedicated individuals went on to continue offering services to help all members of the community. Today, specifically for housing, the Primavera Foundation offers education, workshops and counseling for pre-purchase, budgeting, rental housing, and more. These services are offered in both English and Spanish.
