Shant Banosian has been Guaranteed Rate’s top loan officer since 2014. He has steadily climbed National Mortgage News’ List of Top Loan Officers and Producers – he was #4 in the nation in 2017, with 1,136 loans closed worth a volume of nearly $435 million. Then, in 2018, he was #2 in the nation with 1,129 loans closed for an amount worth almost $458 million. Finally, in 2019, he ranked #1 as the top loan officer in the United States with 1,215 loans closed worth a volume of $536,294,703!

In addition to being ranked the top loan officer by National Mortgage News, Banosian has been ranked #1 by Scotsman Guide (2017 and 2018) and Mortgage Executive Magazine (2017 and 2018). Banker and Tradesman has listed him as the #1 loan originator by volume for Massachusetts for 2013 through 2018! He is also a member of Guaranteed Rate’s President’s Club as well as the Chairman’s Circle. The key behind his success lies with his customer’s satisfaction – 98% of Banosian’s clients have said they would use him again.

Banosian has a Bachelor of Science degree from Bentley University, and currently lives with his family in Belmont, MA. He is the manager of Guaranteed Rate’s Waltham branch. Over the course of his career, he has had more than $3 billion in loans funded. Banosian has been in the mortgage business for over ten years.
