Founded in 1922, Roebling Bank was a regional bank serving small communities in New
Jersey. In July 2013, 3rd Federal Bank acquired Roebling Bank, and all five of its
branches will now become 3rd Fed locations. Though it kept its original name and its
focus on serving New Jersey for over 90 years, Roebling ran into financial trouble
during the early 2010's. At the time of its acquisition, Roebling Bank had two locations
in Florence, along with single locations in New Egypt, Westampton, and Delran NJ.
As
of this writing, 3rd Federal Bank will have around $850 million in assets and 19 total
locations.
