Wolcott Humphrey is the great grandfather of the current President and CEO, Peter Humphrey founded a community bank in Warsaw, New York, called the Wyoming County Bank. Mr. Humphrey's vision was to focus on local communities and their people, and the bank has never lost this focus.
The company has gone through many changes over the years, and is now known as Five Star Bank. Five Star Bank is the result of combining the Wyoming County Bank with Bath National Bank, First Tier Bank & Trust, National Bank of Geneva, and Pavilion State Bank. It however is still being led by the Humphrey Family.
The bank has over 2.6 Billion USD in assets, conducts business in 14 counties in Western and Central New York, and employs around 600 people.
